Alexander Mueller
Vice President
Alex Mueller joined First Tryon Advisors in 2021 and primarily focuses on serving the advisory needs of charter schools and independent schools in markets across the country. He is a staunch advocate for school choice and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Alliance of Public Charter Schools. Alex helps organizations secure financing for new facilities and save money through the refinancing and restructuring of existing debt. He develops customized financial models to support the capital planning needs of the firm’s clients and has a lead role in First Tryon’s growing investment consulting practice.
Prior to joining First Tryon, Alex served as a Captain in the Marine Corps for five years. He holds a B.S. in American Politics and Law with a Russian language minor from the United States Naval Academy, as well as a Masters of Financial Management degree from Liberty University. Alex is a Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50).
