Anne Harty

Anne Harty serves as a Vice President in First Tryon’s Operational Consulting division where her focus is assisting local government clients primarily located in South Carolina and North Carolina. Anne has over 34 years of local government experience, having served as the York County South Carolina Treasurer & Finance Director for 14 years and for 20 years with the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina; 15 years as Chief Financial Officer. Anne performs project based financial assistance for local government clients to include staff development and training, policy development, rating agency and bond preparation work, interim on-site management and more.

Anne has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Winthrop University. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1990 and was named the 2015 Outstanding CPA in Local Government by the American Institute of CPAs. In 2017, the Charlotte Business Journal named Anne CFO of the Year in the government category. Anne has served on numerous committees and Boards throughout her career, including the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada Executive Board. She is also a Certified Government Finance Officer – SC and is a government finance continuing education instructor at the University of South Carolina – Columbia.
